Our Services

Baby Steps

This program is a building block for those brand new to fitness or have had multiple failures. This 15 minute session is designed to help you grow at your own pace. Starting with creating a nutrition and proper hydration program, building on your successes and overcoming past failures, we‘ll work through any and all obstacles together. There is a better you, we just have to find the right path forward! Recommended 2 sessions per week.

Personal Training

One-on-one, your nationally certified personal trainer will have a custom designed program ready and waiting for you when you walk into Columbia Fit. These fun, efficient, effective, full body workouts are designed to stimulate your whole body, burn lots of fat and build muscles and bones. These sessions come in half hour or full hour time slots. Recommended sessions 2-3 per week.

Small Group Training

2-3-4 people or more! Enjoy your friends and family while getting an amazing workout together. This approach is proven to create a stronger bond with those you love. These are fun, full body workouts and are offered in one hour time slots only. Be ready to play and sweat. Recommended 1-2-3 per week.

Mobile Personal Training

We come to you.
Stay in the comfort of your own home. We have what it takes to give you and your family a super workout. Our mobile workout gear that will get the job done. Your Personal trainer will provide you with a great workout wherever you are within a 5 mile radius of our studio. These are full body workouts. Minimum but not limited to one hour time slots. Recommended 1-2 per week.

Virtual Training

This has become the new order of efficient and effective home workouts. Stay in the comfort of your own home or stay fit while you’re on the road. Your Nationally certified personal trainer will guide you through an amazing workout. We’ll call you on your computer or mobile device, then take care of the rest. Virtual training sessions are half hour or full hour time slots. Recommended 2-3 per week.

Meet the expert

Rob strives to provide clients with the knowledge, skills, guidance, support, motivation and educational resources that will allow them to explore their own fitness potential, as well as, enhance the quality of their lives now and ongoing. My goal is to design workout programs that are safe, fun, effective and efficient so that my clients stick to the program for the long haul. I take my clients’ goals personally; in fact, I have not succeeded as their Personal Trainer until they have achieved the results they desire. All that I require of my clients is that they have a desire to change or improve their overall fitness. The rest – leave to me.

Rob is the best! I started working with Rob about five years ago. My goals were to improve conditioning and balance, which seem to deteriorate as one ages—which I hate to admit was happening to me.

My professional life has been filled with music as a performing violinist (55 years) and arts professional. I have performed with most of the regional symphonies and ensembles from Eastern and SW Washington to Eugene to Portland. Playing violin is surprisingly physical: sitting for hours with your back straight and holding your arms at shoulder level, one high and one lower with strange torque and flexion. You work up a sweat! It creates great core strength but also creates a muscle imbalance in your neck and shoulders since the right and left sides are working in totally different muscles movements. Rob has been invaluable (and patient with me as an ‘older’ client) to craft workouts that brought the two halves into balance and increased strength and flexibility that didn’t stress my hands or elbows so I could keep up with my concert schedule pain-free.

 

Most recently, his name has been on my lips to sing his praises for giving me rock-solid abs and quads. I have arthritis throughout my body as a result of Lyme disease. My lower spine had deteriorated to the point of needing a lumbar fusion and other procedures at several levels. Rob worked with me for 12 weeks in intensive pre-hab in preparation for the surgery. As a result, my quads are rock stars in stabilizing my balance and the ability to stand and sit easily without any aid. Rob is the best!
